Bonnie Chalmers
Secretary
I am retired from working in DHS for over 30 years. But I still maintain two part-time jobs, one is self-employment working with high school exchange students and the other is with CAFA, Kids Connecting. I am widowed and have two sons; one is married to a wonderful lady, and they have two adult children. My youngest son lives in heaven. Community volunteering and involvement have been part of my life since I was in high school. My church involvement started when I was 20 years old and my relationship with God is ever-increasing. He is my motivation to get up in the morning and walk in this world in a way that encourages others. In my spare time, I like to garden, grow roses, travel, make handcrafts, and read or study. My life verse is Matthew 5:16 “Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”
